Sasho Ujgunoski – Tenor



 

Sasho Ujgunoski is a Melbourne-based tenor and founder of the National Touring Opera. He studied at the Victorian College of the Arts and completed the Graduate Diploma in Opera. Sasho studied voice with Dr Margaret G. Bennett, herself trained by John Dickens, the voice teacher of Dame Joan Sutherland. Sasho has performed in numerous concerts, his repertoire including Wagner (Siegfried, Tristan, Siegmund, Lohengrin), Verdi (Otello, Radames, Manrico) and Puccini (Cavaradossi, Calaf). Prior to his career change to opera, Sasho worked in the corporate sector holding many senior roles, most recently as Head of Sales at the Australian Human Resources Institute. Sasho has performed in the roles of Canio (Pagliacci) and Otello (Otello).
