Diego Gaston Zamudio
Diego Gaston Zamudio – Tenor
Diego was born in Argentina. He moved to Italy – the birthplace of his Mother. Hi graduated from the Conservatoire Juan Pedro Esnaola, where he studied pianoforte, and voice with composer Andres Risso. He then sang with the chorus of Argentino de La Plata theatre, before being awarded a scholarship from the Calabrese Association for the Francesco Cilea Conservatoire to continue his studies, and sang with L’Arlesiana under the direction of Carlo Frasca. Diego has sung concerts in Buenos Aires, Reggio Calabria, Madrid and Rome.
His concert performances have included bach St. John Passion and Ramirez Misa Criolla.
His operatic repertoire includes Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Il Conte Almaviva (The Barber of Seville), Nemorino (Elixir of Love), Alfredo (La Traviata), and Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto).
